Elliptical Illusion #R13 - Foam Ceiling Tile (Package of 8 Tiles), Plain White

My house is almost 84 years old and I can assure you, settling has happened over the decades. All of the downstairs or main level ceiling have cracks in them. One option to fix that is to pay someone to rip the ceilings out and replace them. The expense of that it out of reach. I put mock tin tiles in the living room but they were expensive, bulky and hard to work with. I knew there has to be a better solution.

Working from the center of the room, the ceiling in my bedroom was done in no time at all. Around the edging, the tile is easy to cut to fit being made from foam. As an added plus, it printable! In the Spring I plan on doing just that too.

I am really impressed with how easy these tiles go up. The instructions said that we might have to secure them somehow but that was not the case. We applied the glue and started sticking them up. It went pretty fast. I was floored. I was wondering g if I was going to have to use something for tiles to stay but they stuck great to our textured ceiling. It gives our livingroom a great new look. I have to order more we don't quite have enough but I am loving how beautiful and easy it was. Since we did have a fire this was a great way to make the house look awesome again. They are pretty to look at. I had no difficulty putting them up.They are lightweight and easy to install. They give a lightness to the room. They were easy to use. Makes the room look elegant. The best part is how easy they are to put up.

 I was pleasantly surprised with the end result of these ceiling tiles.  I used them in a guest bedroom where I had recently done a lot of work, particularly on the ceiling, due to water damage.
   While the tiles look kind of flimsy, they are actually quite sturdy and they are very, very lightweight. Cutting them was a breeze with a sharp utility knife,
  I really like that they are larger tiles... more coverage with less work. The design on them really brings a new dimension room and in the room I used them in, they made the ceiling appear higher. 
  I painted the tiles off white. They really came out nice.  I believe that they would still look decent left unpainted, but my wife insisted that they were painted to make the room feel finished. 
  Installation was simple.  I added dots of glue on the back of the tiles and pressed firmly. Very easy. Once I got going, the whole ceiling in the room took me 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete.
  I am completely satisfied with the look of these tiles. With the extra I have left over, I'm thinking about doing an accent wall.
